Finally...

This word seems to have a lot of importance in my life. In all of ours actually. How many times have you exclaimed this word. And in what all different emotions. Happiness, Euphoria, Relief, Joy, sometimes Hope and sometimes Destiny its meant so many things at different times

Today, its simply my ability to move beyond the title, and start my journey of writing. One more step towards being myself and staying myself :) I love this feeling :)

What an election! What a verdict! This election is going to go down as one of the most important ones in the history of not only our young sixty two year old country, but also in the world. A Love to Hide

This is not the first movie Sir showed us which has shaken me up, but never have I actually written about a movie. Today I had to. I want to put down my thoughts before they mellow down, before the emotions which are overwhelming quieten, before I become calm or rather as he always says before status quo is restored. I don’t know what I want to write, but I need to think about this. Why did it break my heart to see A Love to Hide, I cried, I was shocked, I wanted to scream, how could humans be this way! And, why? Why can’t people let others live? Is it too much to ask for? A right to live? Is it that things are more important than humanity, than compassion, than love? Why is increasingly difficult for people to think about anything but themselves, to be kind, to look at others who are not like them as still human beings, to love. Why is it always me first? Happy Women's Day

Yes its one more of those 'days'. This one is for the women (or so they say). A day when you would receive yet another crafted e-mail about why it is that you should salute the spirit of women. All your guy friends will either wish you or if they are real close friends, will make fun of you. There will be completely unnecessary debates about why there is no Men's Day. When in school, it used to be even worse, being put in the category of 'women' when you were still just a girl :P It was confusing. Then there would be this odd guy whose birthday would fall on Women's day who would be teased to their wit's end. While you are forwarding the mailers, and texting friends, and feeling both happy and angry, you try to guage your real emotion behind it. So why is it that you feel happy?
